Open Textbook Network Faculty Workshop In-Person
Are you an instructor who is concerned about the impact of high textbook costs on your students? Have you ever felt hampered by copyright restrictions and unable to create your ideal course? Explore possible open textbook solutions by attending this workshop and writing a short textbook review. Receive a $200 stipend for your efforts!
The workshop will be led by David Ernst, creator of the University of Minnesota’s Open Textbook Library, and Josh Bolick, Scholarly Communications Librarian at the University of Kansas.
Space is limited and open textbooks are not available for all subjects. Preference will be based on textbook subject area availability.
