Conducting a Literature Review using RefWorks In-Person

This workshop will walk you through the process of understanding the purposes of a literature review of published scholarly works, acknowledging the different types of reviews, developing search strategies, as well as critically idenifying and synthesizing the most appropriate sources.  It will also introduce you to RefWorks, a web-based bibliographic management software tool that allows you the ability to store and manage citations, and ultimately create bibliographies in a number of different styles as you conduct literature reviews.  This session will be hands-on, as you will have practical exercises around the different steps in the literature review process and the basic functionalilty of RefWorks.  Laptop is required.
