Description

Seating Capacity: 32 (Covid),  64 (Max) 

Tables: 16 Semicircular (8 when arranged as circles). 

Displays: 6 100” touch interactive 4K displays 

Podium PC: Windows 11 PC with standard applications including Office 365 (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.), Adobe Creative Cloud, multiple browsers, internet access, Solstice for wirelessly connecting to the display, Zoom and WebEx apps, Solidworks, and Matlab.   Individuals can log in with their CU credentials or use the standard guest access. 

Podium PC has a Wacom Cintiq Pro 24” Creative Pen and Touch Display for annotation. 

Display PCs:  Each display is also equipped with its own PC with similar software as the podium PC.  These allow each display in the room to be used individually as touch interactive collaboration displays. 

Presenters can also connect their laptops, tablets and mobile devices to the HDMI connection at the podium (wired) or wirelessly using the Solstice App on the room PC to share content. 

Rooms have ceiling mounted PTZ Aver cameras, ceiling mics, and JBL ceiling speakers, providing fully integrated AV for a complete multimedia room experience across multiple technologies. 

Rooms have dedicated Codecs for direct video conferencing, and support Zoom, WebEx, and other similar meeting technologies.  

Room control is provided via an Aurora control panel to enable use of the room displays, video, audio, VTC, lighting, and to request technical assistance. 

Power is available at each tabletop.

Classroom booking requests are moderated and require approval by Watt staff.  If approved, please note that reservations can be cancelled by Watt Center management at any time.  If a reservation is approved and later needs to be cancelled, we will try to move your reservation to an alternate location in the Watt Center if available.
